Frequently Asked Questions
At Low compression, no — your PDF stays fully intact with selectable text. At Medium and High, each page becomes an optimized image, so file size drops significantly but text is no longer selectable and image quality is reduced.
Some PDFs are already well optimized. If a level doesn't reduce the size, we'll tell you honestly instead of showing a fake result — try a higher compression level.
This tool can't open password-protected PDFs. Remove the password first, then upload the file.
Yes, uploads are limited to 60MB.
