How to Resize an Image Online
Whether you need an image for a website banner, a profile photo, or a print template, getting the exact pixel dimensions right matters. Here's how to do it online, without installing anything.
Know your target dimensions first
Before resizing, check what dimensions your destination actually requires — a website's hero image spec, a form's upload requirement, or a specific social platform's recommended size.
Keep the aspect ratio locked
If you only care about one dimension (say, width), lock the aspect ratio so the other dimension adjusts automatically. This avoids a stretched or squashed result. Only unlock it if you specifically need a non-proportional size, such as fitting an exact banner slot.
Enlarging vs. shrinking
Shrinking an image almost always looks clean. Enlarging an image beyond its original size can look softer, since the tool has to invent new pixels rather than remove existing ones — there's a practical ceiling to how much you should scale up.
Resize in your browser
NAPIZO's Image Resizer lets you type an exact width and height, lock the aspect ratio, and download the result immediately — all processed locally in your browser.
